Zoya Sweet

Zoya Sweet on my toes.  I used only two coats, which is completely opaque.  This is such a gorgeous color and it applied easily.  The dry time was relatively fast as well.

Zoya Zara

Zoya Polish Reviews

I recently purchased Zoya Zara, Malia, and Sweet. I have been interested in Zoya polishes for some time because they are vegan friendly as well as toluene, formaldehyde, DBP, and camphor free (which means it is better for you and the environment--plus safe for pregnant mothers).

Today I tried Zara, a saturated purple with lots of fine gold shimmer. It is a gorgeous color and I am very excited to see it in the sun tomorrow.

I used three coats to achieve an opaque cream color application. The polish was also very slow drying, much slower than OPI or China Glaze polishes.

and an outdoor picture, to show how it sparkles in the sunlight:

Two coats resulted in a lighter purple (very pretty) but with some show through -- I could see the whites of my nails fairly easily. The picture below is with two coats:

Coach, August 09

Coach's newest bag, Garnet, appears to be trying a bit too hard in my opinion.  I'm always a fan of turnlocks, but turnlock, pleats, belt detail, and on this version of the Garnet, a chain?
That's just a bit too much.

I'm much more interested in the Tribeca tote.  I love the pieced tiers look (very similar to certain dresses right now) and the patent is fun.  I could have done without the chain straps, for a look more like the Magazine Tote.

Looking forward to Coach's debut of the Brooke bag!

Here are the Spring 2010 Vera Bradley patterns.  Personally, I love the Sittin' in a Tree pattern with the adorable blue birds (looks so eco-chic!), and I like Totally Turq (although the name is a bit ehh), but I'm not too big on Loves Me or Poppy Fields.  Opinions?
