Coney Island Cotton Candy - Mannequin Hands

I'm wearing OPI Coney Island Cotton Candy today for the first time in order to submit it to All Lacquered Up's Mannequin Hands series that my friend Bunny at tPF alerted me to.  I bought this one at a yard sale a few years back, but it is still available through OPI.

Coney Island Cotton Candy
Coney Island Cotton Candy applied slightly streaky, but after four coats, the color looked nice.  I was very surprised by this one - I LOVE the way it looks!!

So my big question... is cotton candy cream colored?  I'm not a big fan of cotton candy, but I expect it to be pink or blue.  But hey, the unexpected can be fun!

Mannequin Hands
I'm also sending this combo to All Lacquered Up's Mannequin Hands series:

For my Mannequin Hands nails, I painted five coats of OPI Maryland Crabcake topped with three coats of OPI Coney Island Cotton Candy.  My nails are loaded with polish!

I have heard that this Cotton Candy one is OPI's top selling nail polish of all time. I can see why-- it looks like a really versatile neutral!

MightyLambchop - ugh, I know! I waited four hours for it to dry last night, but still woke up this am with dented nails :(

Liz, I had no idea it was so popular! I wish I had tried it sooner - it's just been sitting in my collection unused for years.

Thanks gilded!

Bunny, I know!!! I'll be posting all about MD Crabcake soon -- I truly bought it just for the color. It's 15 years old though so it might be hard to find :(

Mannequin hands lol... It looks really pretty... FOUR coats though - wow! I had to do that with OPI's Bubble Bath too.

^^ I've actually never tried Bubble Bath and I was wondering if it took s many coats as Cotton Candy - thanks for letting me know! It's a really pretty neutral too.
