Happy 2010!!

Happy 2010 my fellow bloggers and followers!!  I hope everyone had a safe and fun New Year's Eve :)

Quick question... do you say "twenty-ten" or "two thousand ten"?  J and I have been having a debate about which one will prevail throughout the year.

I decided to do blue for my New Year's Day nails - it seems like a nice fresh color for the fresh start to a new year.

China Glaze DV8

For the base, I used China Glaze DV8, topped with the same Konad design twice, first in Zoya Tallulah and then in China Glaze OMG.

Have a wonderful day and a great year all!

One of my friends retweeted that this year is the last time for like, a thousand years that we have a three-syllable year...but that only works if you say "twenty-ten," so that's what I'm going with!

Thanks Gildedangel!

Julie - that is fascinating!!! Thanks for sharing.. as an English major, I have a bit of an obsession with syllables (as completely dorky as that sounds).

Thanks Trine!! That's what I say too.. 'twenty-ten' just doesn't sound right to me (but I have a feeling that is what is catching on)..

Thanks so much Lyra!!

Its funny, because in 1998 I said nineteen ninetyeight, but I just think it sounds wierd saying twenty ten :)

Brooke, my 13 year old cousin and I visited your site while I was visiting family and she loves the Konad stuff! I bought her some stamps and polish and I can't wait to see how they turn out! : ) Happy new year!
