It isn't easy (to quit) being green

China Glaze Emerald Sparkle

Day after St. Patty's green?  Totally a do.
Yesterday I received a special surprise from my wonderful friend, Kathy, at tPF.  It was truly a random act of kindness and such a sweet gesture.  She saw Emerald Sparkle (as well as some other lovely polishes) on my wishlist and decided to surprise me with a few from her own collection.  Isn't that just an incredible thing to do?  Not only that, but she also sent six other Wet n' Wild polishes to play around with :)  Thank you so much Kathy!!

I have wanted Emerald Sparkle for quite a while now.  It is a STUNNING sparkly green.  Yesterday, as I was preparing to do my St. Patty's mani and kept wishing I had Emerald Sparkle.  So it was really exciting to discover Emerlad Sparkle in my mailbox yesterday evening!

I used two coats for total coverage.  It dried quickly and applied nicely.  It looks like it is a dark green/black base with loads of green sparkle.  I absolutely ADORE it!!  I wish I could capture how beautifully sparkly it is, but we all know how hard it is to photograph glitter.  I was especially surprised today when one of my students complimented my nails - none of them have ever complimented my nails before!

Thank you again Kathy!!  I'm loving Emerald Sparkle.  I can't get enough green! :)

Hope everyone had a lovely Thursday!

Emerald Green is such a pretty colour, I don't know why I haven't picked it up. I know they still have it at a store near me, I think I need to make a trip there and pick it up!

I'm so glad I have snapped up several Emerald Sparkles last month when I was at Sally's. I figured it was too good of a color to pass on a good sale price and I'm glad I did cause if I had only one of those I don't know if I'd have the heart to send it to you. :p

Glad you like the polishes. It's better with you than to have them sitting around.

I'm normally not a fan of green nail polish (I think I OD'd on green nail polish back in 7th grade when Wet'N'Wild first came out w/ green, blue, and black nail polish), but I have to admit, I'm really liking green polish on your nails. Maybe I'll give it another chance.

BTW, how is the spreadsheet for Nailene giveaway going?

So Very Fabulous - I kept waiting on it myself (you know, you keep telling yourself you have enough greens or enough glitters, etc.). I hope you get it soon!!

Kathy, I'm glad you still have one too!! I was hoping you didn't send me your last bottle (unless you really despised the color, which seemed almost impossible with this beautiful color!). Thank you again for gifting it!! I really appreciate it :)

Libbeh - I really grew on green polishes during the fall. they can be a lot of fun!! the spreadsheet took me centuries. My computer is having major hard drive issues and keeps telling me the something memory is almost full, so the switching back and forth back and forth between blogger and excell REALLY slowed down my computer. so I ended up doing it in shifts. But I finally finished that spreadsheet this am - and my Skin MD giveaway has only ONE way to enter so no spreadsheet - just random.org - THANK GOODNESS! lol.
