China Glaze Watermelon Rind - and Godiva responds!

China Glaze Watermelon Rind

I love China Glaze's Summer Days collection.  Strawberry Fields is one of my favorite pinks :)  Watermelon Rind is fairly new to me, but it is a very cool shade.  More teal than green, it is a very blue-based green (I compared it side-by-side to Emerald Sparkle and it didn't even look green next to that super-green shade!).  It is slightly sheer with three coats (as seen here) - you can still kind of see the whites of my nails.  It dried very fast and applied smoothly.  It has a medium-heavy amount of glitter.  Overall, I love it - it is a really cool shade: not green, not blue, but in between.

Yesterday I went to an ADHD conference (I published my blog remotely - go me!).  It was really interesting and informative.  When I got home, I discovered two awesome things waiting on my front porch.  The first thing?  TPF's polish swap box!!!  I am SO EXCITED about this and have been waiting for months!  All of us polish lovers are sharing a giant box full of polish.  Basically each person puts in some polishes to swap and takes out some they love.  I think it is a really cool idea - plus I love that we are trading instead of buying new.  So green!  It is going to be really hard to choose which ones I want, although there are surprisingly a lot of polishes in the box from my wishlist, so that is exciting :)

(These are the polishes I chose - happy dance!!)

I also got a box from (drumroll please)... Godiva!  I was shocked!  They sent me a replacement box for the box J got me at Valentine's Day.  I'm really surprised, but glad they replaced it.  Thanks Godiva.  And thanks to all my wonderful readers!  I appreciate all of your support :)

So, which China Glaze Summer Days polish was your favorite?
Have a fun day!!

The "polish box" is so cute, i wish I had enough friends of mine who loved polish like I do..that sounds like fun!

Watermelon rind is so pretty, I think I may have to get this one and congrats on the chocolate, it pays to let big companies know whats going on! :)

I wore Watermelon Rind for the first time in early March and fell in love! It made me immediately want the rest of the collection. My next planned mani is Raspberry Festival and I just swapped for Grape Juice and Strawberry fields. 4 down, 2 to go! I can't even pick a favorite. I REALLY wish ChG would do another collection with this glass fleck and complete the rainbow. Can you imagine these shimmers in light and dark blues, coral, yellow, teal, light purple... It would be epic!
