Guest Polisher Monday - Marble Mania!!

Today I have a marble mani expert here to show us some stunning nail art.  I asked Corinne of iPolished if she would be interested in showing off some of her marbling skills here at Babbling Brooke because I am totally marble-inept - and she created a one-of-a-kind mani just for us!

Corinne's marble mani is perfect for spring with gorgeous floral shades and a petal-shaped design.  Check it out and let us know what you think!

I was thinking spring for this marble, so I wanted to marble colors that would emulate flower petals.  I used all China Glaze for the colors.  First I base coated all of my nails with two coats of First Kiss.  I then used a combo of Let's Groove, Paper Chasing, Sky High-Top and Something Sweet to marble petal-like shapes.  I use petroleum jelly for easier clean up and I applied it to the tip of my nail so it wouldn't take the marble colors.  Next, I applied glitter to the top with clear polish and Cina Glitter.  Then I used two coats of Seche Vite to shine it all up.

Hope you all enjoy and thanks for letting me marble for you!

Thank you for creating such a gorgeous mani for us, Corinne!!

PS: check back in this afternoon because that BIG giveaway I keep talking about is finally here!!

I love marbling. There is no way I would be able to get such a consistent pattern on each nail though. That is great. Very pretty. Thanks for sharing.

I love this! I tried to water marble once and it all went to hell! Therefore I am duly impressed at how awesome yours turned out...

I Love marbling, and do it alot. I have a hard time getting the round shapes though I always end up with swirls in lines(hard to explain) I would have loved this more if she would have put a little bit more of a different shape on each nail. Where I think the round shape is great I like to see all the different kinds you know?
