I like old stuff.

If you're a nerd like me who loves history, this post by Alizarine Claws will be right up your alley.  I found it totally fascinating (and spent a good thirty minutes examining the vintage nail polish advertisements).  It is so cool to see how our advertising, polish bottles, and interests and beliefs have evolved over the years.  Check it out HERE!
I have some (in my very loose use of the term) 'vintage' polishes that date back 15-20 years, but I don't have anything truly old.  Do any of you have any old-old polish?

The link didn't take me to the blog, but I googled it and found it..the oldest polish i have is 15 years old, from Express, two shades I adore...my mother has some polish that is 30 years old, I'll have to check them out and see if they are still good, if I take pics, I'll send them to you

I wish I had saved some of my old cutex polish from when I was a kid. I was pretty gross new, terrible formula.

I checked that post out, it's pretty cool! I wish I had a really old bottle of nail polish, even if it was totally goopy and unusuable, I'd want a polish from the 30's just to have it. I think the oldest polish i've got is probably 15 years old?

I love old stuff like that...pretty cool.

Sadly I tossed a bunch of old polish a few years ago when I wasn't into nails as much. :(

I bet all vintage nail polishes are overflowing with formaldehyde and toluene though! But its cool to see how they advertised them. And nails shapes have definitely changed too! Mom loves the rounded nail look, but whenever I go to the nail salon (as often as once a year haha) they automatically assume squared nails and thats what has come to be the norm for me. Just an observation :)

Only old stuff I have is a bottle of Avon polish from 1998? 1997?, same with a Street something polish in Toad and maybe the same year polish from Mary Kay?
