Pretty, Pretty Princess Nails

I made this mani for Trincess's giveaway, but I decided I could make something even more girly for that.  This looks more Princess-like to me :)

I started with two coats of Zoya Jolene (which is my current favorite pink), then used Kiss Nail Art stickers and rhinestones to make the flower design.  Then I used two different glitters - China Glaze Fairy Dust and NYC glitter - to create a gradient (which didn't photograph too well, but looks pretty cool IRL!)

Speaking of Pretty, Pretty Princess - anyone remember that game?  You put on pieces of jewelry as you moved around the game board?  My sister used to LOVE that game when we were little littles.

On a totally unrelated note, I submitted my MA thesis yesterday and had a really, really awesome day doing almost nothing (at least nothing that involved my brain).  It was great!  I went biking with my mom, did a little gardening, worked out, watched Biggest Loser (goodbye Sam, you were my favorite!), and sat at my kitchen table and stared out the window and totally spaced out for about thirty minutes.  It was really, really nice - and it was really, really needed.  It is amazing how much better I feel after just having one day to totally unwind.  Seriously, if you're feeling stressed, find a way to take a day to just do nothing.  Try not to worry about any upcoming obligations, don't think about work or school or deadlines, turn off your cell, and just chill out.  It is so rejuvenating.

Have an AWESOME day everyone!!!

Congratulations again :) Doing nothing really is awesome. Also, I miss the game Pretty Pretty Princess. That was my childhood version of doing nothing, pretty sure.

Well done on submitting your MA. I quit my MA because I couldn't hack it alongside working full time and I really admire people that manage it!

I love this mani!

I also love lazing around to refresh myself. It's the best!

Thanks Anne-Marie :D And I TOTALLY agree - what an awesome connection. PPP was the child's version of my Wednesday! haha. (Nail polish is another nice, mindless grownup activity :) lol)

Thanks Phuong!!

Thank you Rebecca! I can't imagine working full-time and doing a MA. That sounds IMPOSSIBLE. I work about 25 hrs a week and I'm seriously struggling. Full-time would be HARD. I congratulate you for trying though!!
