Covered in Diamonds (and Leopard Spots!)

Today I have a picture post to show you what is to come.  I am so excited about the new polishes that just showed up from Color Club that I had to try out Covered in Diamonds, Color Club's new flakey Hidden Treasure lookalike.  I tried Covered in Diamonds on my thumbnail (over my leopard-print mani, which I have been proudly wearing in the classroom this whole week).  I used two coats and both dried very quickly.  I'm so excited to try out this entire new collection!!

If you've been looking for Hidden Treasure's cousin, here it is. I'll have more pictures of Covered in Diamonds this weekend.

I hope everyone is having a great week :)

I like it! I'm really intrigued by Covered In Diamonds. I love flakies and could never get my hands on HT.
Looking forward to seeing more!

This is really pretty! I just bought a HT on ebay last week, should be getting it in the mail soon. I am super excited to try it out - good to know there is an alternative now!

It looks awesome! I hope to get this one soon because I'd love to try it out. I normally don't like these kind of glitters but this one intrigues me haha.

Have this in my stash, haven't used it in a mani, only on one finger with bo topcoat. Is it lying down nicely? This such a tasty collection!!

LOVE!! And I like to hear what your student has to say about this mani. LOL

Whoa! That's super interesting. It's like it renewed your recent mani into something totally different. I'd like to see what it'd look like over other patterns on nails.

What an interesting result! I think it's the first time I see a leopard mani convered in diamonds <3

Heather, I haven't been able to find HT either. I found it very early on in the craze, before I saw pictures, and I didn't buy it because I SERIOUSLY dislike Sally Hansen. I'm hoping this polish can quench my flakey thirst!!

Thanks Skulda!!

THANKS JENNY :)

Michelle, I never did either... but I keep seeing pictures of them and loving them. Isn't that weird?

Freshie, I used two coats and kind of arranged the glitters a little. It is smoother than it looks, but you can feel the flakes a bit (I don't have a top coat over it. It looks so cool in the light!!

Haha, Megan :) I had ONE student say (rather timidly) "I love your nails!" which was so cute - but no one else commented. I have more to say about all that though - I was really surprised - and empowered! - by all the great comments I got from you guys regarding the black-polish-hater. I never expected that!! :)

Haha, Mari, it actually reminds me of this school box I had as a child: it was black with a holographic striped cat on it. I'd love to find a picture of it - it's like my weird, crazy mani in school box form!! lol

Haha!! Absolutely, Gaby :) I think I probably have the weirdest mani out there today :)
