China Glaze Awakening - Halloween 2010 Collection

Today I have the fabulous Halloween collection from China Glaze:
Awakening!

China Glaze Ick-A-Bod-Y

Can you get any more Halloween-y than this?  I really, really love this one because it so perfectly combines black, oranges, and glitter for such an awesome October shade.  It covered great with two coats and dried at a medium rate.  It has a slightly rough texture that could be covered with a good top coat (like Seche Vite).  For all the Halloween-loving polish collectors out there, Ick-A-Bod-Y is a MUST have.  I love it :)

China Glaze Mummy May I

Mummy May I has a pure black base with floating medium purple glitter.  It is really pretty, but difficult to photograph.  This could definitely be worn year-round, since it isn't specifically "Halloween."  It dried at a medium rate and covered well with two coats.

China Glaze Zombie Zest

This is quite aptly named, since it is such a zesty limey shade.  Zombie Zest covered in two coats, but a third wouldn't hurt.  It has a warm, glowy shimmer with finer glitter than Mummy May I and Ick-A-Bod-Y.  Very pretty and another nice year-round shade.  Zombie Zest dried a little faster than the other two.
(This one makes me think of the song Monster Mash - do you think the Zombie Zest could be a dance move?)

These polishes are sold in a special limited edition set of four - these three shades and the China Glaze Fast Forward top coat.  They are available at Sally Beauty Supply, as well as many other beauty supply stores.

The only one I picked up out of this set is Mummy May I - I have a similar green and the orange just didn't call my name. It is a cool collection, though!

Thanks guys! Meg, I didn't know you could buy them individually - where can you find them sold individually?

How was the removal of these? Did you use acetone? They are very glittery!

I love all three of these! I have Hard Candy Mischief, which is a dupe for Ick-a-Body, but I have yet to find the China Glaze ones...

Thank you so much, everyone!!

Fer, excellent question. They removed REALLY easily - like most China Glaze glitters. I used acetone free polish remover and they came off w no problem.

I got the 4 pack as soon as it was available online, but I had a terrible time getting the stuff off my nails. Do you have a secret for getting glitter like these off you nails?

Brooke - you described Ick-a-bod-y as black and orange .. I've seen other bloggers say it's got a dark olive/hunter green base. Did you see this or was it really more black to you?
