Stewed Cinnamon Apples with Pecans

For these, I cooked apples over low heat with a little sugar and cinnamon.  Once the apples were tender, I added some pecans and cooked for another five minutes.  This is such a simple but comforting dessert.

I hope everyone is having a nice week!  I'm exhausted from Thanksgiving - too much travel, food, and shopping!  Did you have a nice Thanksgiving?

It was so easy (and kind of healthy!). I need to post my apple dumpling recipe - they were RIDICULOUSLY good!! I made them bc I had leftover dough from the pies - just wrapped up an apple and poured apple pie sauce over it, then baked. WOW.
