Tied with a Bow

This definitely isn't my favorite Konad design ever (in fact, I wore it for half a day and decided I was tired of it), but I still think it is kind of cute.  Maybe it was the choice of colors - red, dark blue, and green just reads way too "Christmas" - and as much as I'm ready for Christmas to be here (hello winter break!), I'm so not wearing Christmas nails in early November.

The base is Zoya Sarah, the design is in China Glaze Little Drummer Boy, and I filled in the bow (below) with China Glaze Mistletoe Kisses.

I filled in the bow with green sparkly polish from the new China Glaze Holiday Collection.

I also seem to be having trouble shaping my nails.  I get all cringy and grossed out when I file my nails, and I can't seem to find any clippers.  I'll make that one of my goals for the weekend - reshape these nails.

Have you had any nail fails lately too?

The bows are cute, but maybe the combo of red and green are just a little too Christmas-y too soon? At least you have an idea for a Christmas mani in the bag.

I think it's a lovely mani. Maybe if the bow was in different colours, it wouldn't be so Christmasy?
