Mother's Day Flowers

It is two days late, but I wanted to wish all of the mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day.  I hope you all had a beautiful day!

Broadway Nail Dress

For Mother's Day, I wore this gorgeous Broadway floral "Nail Dress" on my nails.  They are basically sticky sheets of polish shaped to your nails.  They are super easy to apply (much easier than a another brand I have tried) and I had zero bumps.  You have to guesstimate which size nail will fit yours, and as you can see, I guessed wrong on my index finger (the first nail I did, but I got the rest right.

Once you stick the nail down, you use the included file to file away the excess.  I wore these for three days with a topcoat, but I had to peel them off before a work meeting.

Broadway Nail Dress comes in a variety of patterns (including leopard print - can't wait to try that!).  These are available at major retail stores and drugstores.  Have you had a chance to try them yet?  I am just loving this floral design.  It is so pretty.  I got SO MANY compliments on my nails just in the few days I wore them.

The nails matched my dress!

I loved that the nail patterns weren't identical, which made it look more natural (a lot like Minx, but tremendously cheaper).

They even made my shorter nails (right) look nice.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

So cute! I like this one better than the Sally Hansen Flower one. This one is more colorful and cute.

Cris, I agree, the Broadway floral is more fun. I think they is so pretty - they match my dress, another dress I have, and a shirt (literally almost spot on too). I wish I had another set! haha

Marta, thank you - and thank you about the Mother's Day photo too! I have a few more I want to share later once I go through all of my pictures (I look almost 600 on Mother's Day weekend! I'm a photoholic!). Hope you had a nice Mother's Day :)

Natalie, thank you! They have them at Walmart and Target; I also saw them at the Walgreens near me. They are really new though, so they might still be tough to find. Let me know if you get them!

Thanks LadyLuck!

Thank you Akuma! They did take a while to apply though - I did it while we were watching a movie (it look about 30 minutes to shape my nails and apply them. And thanks about the picture! We are 4.5 years apart, but we do look REALLY similar! Thank you :)

I think MINX nail designs is brilliant, it is shiny and doesn't need drying time, just apply to your nails and shape it to fit your nails in enough, it can make your nails beautiful for a long time. Very good. like it so much!
