Spring Break!

I am on spring break (as are my students), and I am so grateful for the week off.  It has been a tough last month for me, and I have been dealing with a lot after a very sudden loss.  Thankfully my family and friends have been very supportive and helpful, and I am beyond appreciative of everything they have done for me.  I know I am not finished grieving, and I am not sure if I ever will be, but I am trying to get back into the things I love doing and move away from wallowing in sorrow.  So I am back, after a much too long hiatus from blogging (but not polishing - I still polish at least twice a week), and I apologize for my much too long absence.

Since it is spring break, I have a fun manicure that I wouldn't normally wear during the school year.  I love everything about this and I can't stop admiring my nails.

I started with two coats of China Glaze's fast-drying Snow, then stamped the zebra design from Konad plate m57 using Zoya Kimber, a gorgeous hot pink shimmer, on three nails, and a swirl of Kimber and Zoya Myrta on my index finger.

I always make the mistake of stamping the zebra print in the same direction each time, so I made sure to angle the stamp a little differently on each nail to give it a more unique and interesting look.  I topped everything with Seche Vite.

What is your favorite spring break color or nail design this year?  I noticed that a lot of my students were wearing yellow last week.

PS: I started Pinning, plus I added a Pinterest button (below) :)
Oddly, you can only see if it you are on an individual post (it doesn't show when you visit  Any ideas how I can fix this?
